I have been an AFRINIC member since the mid-2000s. To date, I have been mostly an end-user of AFRINIC resources and I feel that now is time for me to be more actively involved in the AFRINIC community to affect positive change in this space and to be involved in a productive and constructive way. I've spent the last 20 years within the ISP environment in South Africa serving 17 years as Seacom Western Cape (previously Macrolan)'s CTO. Most recently I've been heading up a small startup ISP and cloud business called Africa on Cloud as their CEO.
