We are pleased to announce that we have now published the Annual Report for 2019 which captures what AFRINIC achieved during the year. The Report also contains the Annual Financial Statement (Please see the report at https://afrinic.net/ast/pdf/annual-reports/afrinic-annual-report-2019.pdf)
As you see from the Report, we distributed 4,574,464 of IPv4 address space, 364 /32s IPv6 address space and 188 AS Numbers in 2019. It is thus clear that we continue to play a vital role in Africa’s Internet growth. But it is clear that the IPv4 address pool in our service region is dwindling. We urge our membership and community to take up the challenge of implementing IPv6 to keep our promise of growing the Internet in our region.

Nous sommes heureux d'annoncer que nous avons maintenant publié le rapport annuel pour 2019 qui rend compte de ce que l'AFRINIC a réalisé au cours de l'année. Comme vous le voyez dans le rapport, nous avons distribué 4 574 464 d'adresses IPv4, 364 /32s d'adresses IPv6 et 188 numéros AS en 2019. Il est donc clair que nous continuons à jouer un rôle essentiel dans la croissance de l'internet en Afrique. Mais il est clair que le réservoir d'adresses IPv4 dans notre région de service s'amenuise. Nous invitons tous nos membres et notre communauté à relever le défi pour le déploiement d'IPv6 afin de tenir notre promesse de développer l'internet dans notre région.
