Technical Community Development Program

Image
The Internet has emerged to become a fundamental tool for economic, social, and cultural development globally and in Africa. As such, we believe that building technical communities is key to advancing the development of the Internet in the region. These communities in turn play a crucial role in ensuring that the Internet is stable, secure, and accessible for all members of the community.

Through our partnerships with regional and national technical community groups, we provide support in the form of financial assistance, technical expertise, and in-kind resources. We believe that this support helps the technical communities to grow, develop and enhance their skills. The community development programs, help to create an environment where Internet professionals can thrive and work towards the common goal of advancing the Internet in the region.

Working with technical community groups also enables us to learn from their experiences and insights. We use this knowledge to help improve our programs, ensuring that they are relevant and responsive to the needs of the community. We also collaborate with te groups to develop training programs and workshops aimed at enhancing skills for Internet professionals in Africa.

Through our commitment to building technical communities, we are helping to put in place and maintain a more sustainable and thriving Internet ecosystem in Africa. By doing so, we are enabling individuals and communities to connect, share, and innovate.

We encourage you to join us in our efforts to build a better Internet for Africa. If you are a member of a technical community group in Africa or are interested in supporting our work, please contact us to learn more about how you can get involved.
