Community Consultation: Review of Bylaws

AFRINIC is pleased to invite you to participate in a community consultation process regarding the review of its bylaws.

As a membership-based organisation and the sole Regional Internet Registry for Africa and the Indian Ocean region, AFRINIC recognises that good governance, transparency, and accountability are fundamental to its operations and legitimacy. In this context, it is essential to ensure that AFRINIC’s bylaws remain fit for purpose, reflect evolving operational realities, and align with applicable legal and governance standards.

Accordingly, AFRINIC hereby invites its members, stakeholders, and the broader Internet community to submit their views, comments, and any proposed amendments to its bylaws.

This consultation is intended to promote an inclusive, transparent, and participatory process, enabling all interested parties to contribute meaningfully to the review and strengthening of AFRINIC’s governance framework.

Submissions should be clear, concise, and, where possible, supported by a rationale and/or proposed drafting language. All contributions received within the consultation period will be duly considered.

Comments, proposed amendments, and any supporting documentation may be submitted through the following online form

Please note that AFRINIC reserves the right to review, consolidate, and publish submissions, subject to applicable confidentiality and data protection considerations.
