Dear AFRINIC Community,

NomCom2020 would like to remind the community that the Nomination Period for this year’s elections ends at 23:59 GMT on Saturday, 4th April 2020.

Applications have been flowing in fast over the last few days however due to the current lock down in most part of the world, NomCom has decided to extend the nomination period for all open seats for a further two weeks until 23:59 GMT on Saturday, 18th April, 2020. It is important for members of the community to note that NomCom may not be willing to extend nomination period further after this extension considering the processes required to be carried out before a final slate is ready.

 

Chère Communauté AFRINIC,

NomCom2020 souhaite rappeler à la communauté que la période de nomination pour les élections de cette année se termine à 23:59 GMT le samedi 4 avril 2020.

Les candidatures ont afflué rapidement ces derniers jours, mais en raison du confinement en vigueur dans la plupart des régions du monde, le NomCom a décidé de prolonger la période de nomination pour tous les sièges ouverts de deux semaines supplémentaires jusqu'à 23h59 GMT le samedi 18 avril 2020. Il est important pour les membres de la communauté de noter que la NomCom pourrait ne pas être disposée à prolonger la période de nomination après cette prolongation, compte tenu des processus à mettre en œuvre avant qu'une liste finale ne soit prête.

يود NomCom2020 تذكير المجتمع بأن فترة الترشيح لانتخابات هذا العام تنتهي الساعة 23:59 بتوقيت غرينتش يوم السبت ، 4 أبريل 2020.

كانت الطلبات تتدفق بسرعة خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية ولكن بسبب الإغلاق الحالي في معظم أنحاء العالم ، قررت NomCom تمديد فترة الترشيح لجميع المقاعد المفتوحة لمدة أسبوعين إضافيين حتى الساعة 23:59 بتوقيت   غرينتش يوم السبت ، 18 أبريل 2020. من المهم لأعضاء المجتمع أن يلاحظوا أن لجنة الترشيح قد لا تكون مستعدة لتمديد فترة الترشيح بعد هذا التمديد مع مراعاة العمليات المطلوب إجراؤها قبل أن تكون القائمة النهائية جاهزة.

O NomCom2020 gostaria de recordar à comunidade que o período de candidaturas para as eleições deste ano termina às 23:59 GMT de sábado, 4 de Abril de 2020.

No entanto, devido ao actual bloqueio na maior parte do mundo, o NomCom decidiu prolongar o período de candidaturas para todos os lugares em aberto por mais duas semanas, até às 23:59 GMT de sábado, 18 de Abril de 2020. É importante que os membros da comunidade tenham em conta que o NomCom poderá não estar disposto a prorrogar o período de nomeação após essa prorrogação, tendo em conta os processos a realizar antes de estar pronta uma tábua final.

AFRINIC is pleased to announce that its RPKI now supports the RPKI Repository Delta Protocol (RFC 8182).

RRDP is an alternative repository access protocol to the existing RSYNC repository. With RRDP, an additional SIA entry that points to an Update Notification file has been included in the RPKI Certificates, manifests and ROA files. While RRDP has been designed to eventually replace RSYNC, it will, for the time being, co-exist with the latter until there is a full phase-out.

RPKI Certificate Authorities use a Repository server to publish their RPKI products, such as certificates, manifest and CRL files and RPKI-signed objects. So far, RPKI Repositories could be accessed using the RSYNC protocol only. However, the protocol has proved to be operationally unfit for a number of reasons.

AFRINIC tem o prazer de anunciar que seu RPKI agora suporta o RPKI Repository Delta Protocol (RFC 8182).

O RRDP é um protocolo alternativo de acesso ao repositório RSYNC existente.
