Call for fellowships AFRINIC-32 Opens

AFRINIC is offering fellowships for the AFRINIC-32 meeting to be held in Kinshasa, DR Congo, on 6-12 June 2020. The fellowship is reserved for individuals representing small organisations, universities, and media who are actively involved in Internet operations and development or ICT policies in their countries. The fellow is expected to positively and actively contribute to IP address management awareness in the AFRINIC service region.

To qualify for the fellowship, you:

1. Must be a resident of an African country
2. Don't need to be an AFRINIC member
3. Are involved in the Internet community
4. Are willing to report on how this fellowship has benefited you/your Organisation/country within an agreed time frame.

Upon selection, AFRINIC will notify the selected fellows directly and allow them twenty (20) days to accept or reject the offer.

A public announcement of the fellowship awardees will be made after acceptance by the selected candidates.

Please find hereafter the schedule for the fellowship process:

• Close of applications: 04 March 2020
• Notification to selected fellows: 20 March 2020
• Deadline for acceptance by awarded fellow: 10 April 2020
• Final announcement and publication of the fellowship list: 14 April 2020

The fellowship includes:

1. Full assistance with round-trip airfare to the meeting venue
2. Hotel accommodation for the AFRINIC event from the day before the beginning to the last day of the event

4) على استعداد للإبلاغ عن كيف استفادت هذه الزمالة / منظمتك / بلدك من خلال إطار زمني متفق عليه.

2. الإقامة في الفندق لحدث AFRINIC من اليوم السابق لبداية اليوم الأخير للحدث

AFRINIC está oferecendo bolsas para a reunião AFRINIC-32 a ser realizada em Kinshasa, República Democrática do Congo, nos dias 6-12 de junho de 2020 . A bolsa é reservada a indivíduos que representam pequenas organizações, universidades e meios de comunicação que estejam activamente envolvidos nas operações e políticas de desenvolvimento da Internet ou das TIC nos seus países. Espera-se que o bolsista contribua positiva e ativamente para a conscientização da gestão de endereços IP na região de serviço da AFRINIC.

Para se qualificar para a bolsa, você:

1. Deve ser um residente de uma nação africana.
2. Não é necessário ser um membro AFRINIC
3. Estão envolvidos na comunidade da Internet
4. Estão dispostos a relatar como esta irmandade beneficiou você/ sua Organização/país dentro de um prazo acordado.

Após a seleção, a AFRINIC notificará diretamente os bolsistas selecionados e lhes dará vinte (20) dias para aceitar ou rejeitar a oferta.

Um anúncio público dos bolsistas premiados será feito após a aceitação pelos candidatos selecionados.

Por favor, veja a seguir o cronograma do processo de bolsa:

• Encerramento das candidaturas: 04 de Março de 2020
• Notificação a bolsistas selecionados: 20 de Março de 2020
• Data limite para aceitação pelo premiado: 10 de Abril de 2020
• Anúncio final e publicação da lista da irmandade: 14 de Abril de 2020

A irmandade inclui:

1. Assistência completa com passagem aérea de ida e volta ao local da reunião.
2. Alojamento em hotel para o evento AFRINIC desde o dia anterior ao início até ao último dia do evento
